CHART YOUR SURFACE DISTRIBUTION

Turn your product

Muse can finish.

Map what your product can do.
Route it to where demand begins.

A translation table for surface strategy. Job maps, readiness audits, and connector submissions for API-ready consumer companies.

Name the job.

From a product people open
to an outcome an agent can complete.

to actions.
Map the shift.

Google sent traffic. The App Store packaged apps. Instagram rewarded visual proof.

Agent surfaces ask a different question:

“What can this product do
for the user right now?”

As demand moves into agents, a useful brand description is only the start. Your product needs a clear job, an action it can take, and a result the user can recognize.

Useful product.
Real action.
A path out of the app.

Built for 20–200 person U.S. consumer companies with an existing public API or a clear technical action path.

You help people do something.Book, buy, reserve, cancel, compare, reorder, or schedule.

Your product can take action. An API or another reliable path can complete the job.

You need a clear next move. There’s an opportunity to evaluate—and someone needs to own it.

For consumer companies with useful jobs to offer. An AI label isn’t a prerequisite.

A weak use case
can make a good
product look irrelevant.

The problem isn’t just getting listed. It’s taking an unclear job to a new surface and learning the wrong lesson.

A rejection can reflect an unclear job. A quiet listing can reflect weak framing. Neither tells you, on its own, whether the surface matters.

ASK A BETTER QUESTION

“What job should Muse be able to finish through our product?”

Observe. Map.
Calibrate. Document.

A documented path from product workflow
to a job an agent can complete.

01

Run the Surface Check

Understand where demand starts, what the user expects, and whether the opportunity is worth pursuing now.

What we map
  • Surface type and demand behavior
  • Product fit and internal owner
  • A next move: Ignore, Watch, Translate, Prepare, or Act
02

Build the Job Map

Translate broad positioning into specific intent, required inputs, a product action, and a finish line.

What we map
  • Strongest job candidates
  • Strong and weak use case comparison
  • Task map and required inputs
  • Completion criteria and failure conditions
03

Score Surface Readiness

Evaluate the job, the technical action path, and the conditions required for reliable completion.

What we evaluate
  • Surface fit and strength of the completed job
  • API/action access and input clarity
  • Success state and failure path
  • Permissions, authentication, and review/policy risk
  • Internal ownership and business value
  • Readiness score, primary gaps, and review-risk notes

Recommendation: Wait, Translate, Prepare, or Act.

04

Package and Submit

If the opportunity is strong enough, prepare the connector package and submit it on your behalf. Meta makes the final decisions on approval, directory listing, and featured placement.

What we prepare
  • Connector positioning and task-first description
  • Job map and test prompts
  • API/action notes and review-risk notes
  • Submission checklist, submission on your behalf, and internal handoff

We won’t guarantee placement, package weak use cases, mislead clients, or promise what we can’t control.

Questions,
documented.

Serious preparation starts
with honest answers.

Do you guarantee Muse approval?

No. We prepare and submit your connector on your behalf, but Meta makes the final decisions on approval, directory listing, and featured placement. Submission does not guarantee any of these outcomes or a review timeline. GetOnMuse is an independent consultancy.

Does the Listing Sprint include submission?

Yes. The sprint includes preparing your connector package and submitting it to Muse on your behalf. We map the job, document inputs and outcomes, review readiness gaps, and organize the submission materials. Meta then controls review, approval, directory listing, and any featured placement. Applying for the sprint starts an inquiry with GetOnMuse; the platform submission happens as part of the agreed engagement.

Do we need a public API?

Usually, yes. We work best with an existing public API or a clear technical action path. If your product can’t complete a real job outside the app, it may need more preparation first.

Is this only for AI companies?

No. It’s built for useful consumer companies with repeatable jobs: booking, commerce, fitness, local services, travel, fintech, marketplaces, and similar categories. You don’t need to be an AI startup.

What if we aren’t ready for a Listing Sprint?

Start with the Surface Readiness Audit. It may recommend waiting, revising the use case, improving API/action readiness, or preparing for a sprint. A clear “not yet” is a useful outcome.

What makes a strong Muse job?

Clear user intent, specific inputs, a real product action, a measurable success state, known failure paths, and business value. It also needs a reason to happen inside Muse instead of only in your app.

What makes a weak use case?

Vague verbs like “discover,” “browse,” “explore,” “engage,” “learn more,” or “recommend us” don’t tell us what gets completed.

Strong jobs use action verbs: book, buy, reserve, cancel, compare, reorder, schedule, track, redeem, complete. The verb still needs clear inputs and a recognizable finish line.

Can we prepare and pursue this ourselves?

Yes. You can prepare and submit your connector yourself. Our service handles the job mapping, readiness review, submission materials, and submission on your behalf. The value is a clear, well-prepared package and a managed process. Meta makes the final listing and featuring decisions either way.

Does the sprint include building our API or connector?

The listed sprint covers job framing, documentation, test prompts, submission packaging, and submitting the connector on your behalf. Engineering implementation is not included in the listed scope. Any additional work is agreed separately before engagement.

11 / THE NEXT DESTINATION

Your product
has to travel.

Muse is one surface. It won’t be the last.
Find the job. Map the action. Document the next move.

Agents, marketplaces, partner ecosystems, embedded commerce, and immersive experiences will keep changing where demand begins. The companies that adapt will translate their products better.

SURFACE READINESS AUDIT

Prepare your
brief.

Prepare a brief for a potential $1,500 Surface Readiness Audit. The audit itself is a separate consulting engagement.

Booking and inquiry delivery are not open yet. This form only prepares a brief for you to copy or download. It does not contact GetOnMuse or book an audit.

No payment is collected. Preparing an inquiry does not book a service.

A SMALL DATA FOOTPRINT

Your details.
Your decision.

This site doesn’t use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Your theme preference may be saved on your device.

Preparing an inquiry keeps the details in the current browser page. They are not saved to a GetOnMuse database. Copying or downloading the brief creates a copy you control.

Inquiry delivery is not connected. Nothing entered into the form is sent to GetOnMuse.

If you later choose to send a prefilled email or visit a booking service, that provider handles the information under its own policies. Hosting providers may process routine connection and security logs to serve the site.

Closing or refreshing the page may clear your inquiry. Avoid entering passwords, API keys, financial account details, or other secrets.
